Breck!

Skiing in Breck for the first time in a couple of years—so fun (though I think I'll be bruised for days...)!

It was soooo warm out for the first half of the day! Definitely got a little sunburned...

  1. Hello Jody,
You looked quite at home on skis. You too were wearing much less clothing than I would have imagined! You seem to have the loveliest of company skiing with you, what a treasure. It's 87 degrees here today so shorts with no shoes or socks is the attire at present! Again, thank you for the book recommendation! Kind thoughts.

  2. Well Jody,
Concerning Last Christmas in Paris by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb. You'll be happy to hear that I've just borrowed the audio book from my public library through their App. I shall start reading this evening after dinner...provided my attention is not needed elsewhere, tis a lively house I share with my wife and children. You didn't know this, but my two favorite time periods are WWI and WWII - I especially love reading about those eras. Here's a recommendation for you. I finished this book at the beginning of February. It's entitled 'The Last Bookshop In London' by Madeline Martin. Since you also love words and reading, this will be right up your alley. It's a light and lovely story from WWII.
    Very truly,
    Dean

    1. Hello Dean!

I've been abysmal at all correspondence recently, please forgive my delayed reply to you... This one will be brief, as I have a more recent e-mail from you on this subject.

However, I wanted to say that I'm excited that you liked 'Last Christmas in Paris' and I'm delighted that you've also read 'The Last Bookshop in London'! I read it last summer and found it quite inspiring. I was on a WWI and WWII book kick last year in particular, but I'll take any other recommendations (fiction or non) from that time period, since you are more well-read in the genre. :)

      Cheers!
      Jody
